Puno, Pero

September 3 - 11, 2010     -     Cost of Trip - $1,500

We were there 5 yeras ago and held a city-wide crusade.  As the Apostle Paul would revisit churches that he ministered to, likewise we will revisit Pastor Salvadore and his church.

"Hear the sound

the sound of the nations calling.

Here the sound

the sound of the fathers crying

Who will go for us?

Who will shout to the corners of the earth

that Christ is King?"

Will You Adopt A Missionary?

How can I be involved?

Prayer- Prayer is the life blood of missions-and missionaries need it!!!  Nothing is more humbling and encouraging to a missionary when they are told, "We've been praying for you".

Encouragement & Communication - Email them monthly.  Being in a foreign land is often like being on another planet.  They need people who will keep them connected to the life they left.

Build a Relationship - Invest the time to get to know them and their families, birthdays, anniversaries, hobbies, what they and their children like to do.  Show interest in what they do.  If they visit our church, be their official host.

This project can be for Individuals or Ministry Groups!

MISSIONS TRIP 2009 - GUATEMALA

Valle de Panchoy y Antigua GuatemalaI

In March, 15 members of Chestnut Assembly of God left Vineland for Guatemala.  Once there, we met up with Pastor Jose Alvarez and his Kitchen Of Love Ministry Team.  We had a four night crusade with Doug Eccles in a very poor section of the city infested by drugs and gang violence.  We also went up into the mountains where we fed some of the very poor people living in that region.  The Kitchen Of Love Ministry feeds more than 250 children every day.  Most of these children depend on that for their survival.  We felt very very fortunate that we were able to work with them for the week that we were there.  We did have the opportunity to minister to some people that never heard the gospel before, which was very different for us.  We all came home excited and challenged to continue working towards spreading the gospel to all nations.  Please check out some of the photos from our trip by clicking the link below.
